Load question values from an IQA
There are times where you may have a long list of values that you would like to load into a drop down list or checkbox list, but don't want to manually enter them all, or you want them to be kept up to date automatically.
The power of Survey Buddy's integration with iMIS, means you can use an IQA to dynamically load those list of values into your drop down list.
Lets look at an example where we want to load the list of Countries within iMIS, in one of our questions.
Web Service URL: Update the IQA path within the URL below to match your IQA path.
/api/iqa?QueryName=$/Common/Queries/Value Lists/CountryList&Limit=500
Path to data: Always set to "Items;$values"
Get value to store from the following property: This is the name of the field within your IQA. If this was a general lookup table, this may be the code.
Get value to display from the following property: This is the name of the field within your IQA. If this was a general lookup table, this may be the description.
Note: You cannot set a default value when using the Web Service URL feature, as it will break the survey page.
