Measure
Answers and savings
- Questions answered: how many different questions members asked from a search, and how many the assistant answered. A question counts once however often it was asked. It also shows the total answers given, and a bar for each week.
- Answered where search found nothing: questions where search returned no results, but the assistant still answered from your content. These stay in the Worklist as "No results", because the missing page is still worth adding.
- Estimated staff time saved: appears only when you enter your cost per enquiry in Settings. It multiplies your figure by the answers given. It is an estimate from your own figure, not a measured saving.
What members asked about groups searches by the topics of the pages people opened. It appears after two weeks of questions.
At a glance
- Members and the public: searches by signed-in members, and by everyone else.
- Dead ends: searches that started on your "page not found" page. Click to see them.
- Found nothing: the share of searches that found nothing, with the two weeks before.
Further down
Total searches, the share of searches where someone clicked a result, the share that found nothing, and where the clicked result sat in the list. Then charts of searches per day, when people search, and what the assistant did with each question, followed by tables of the top searches, the searches that found nothing and the most clicked results.
Why two "answered" numbers differ
The Worklist's Answered by the assistant marks only searches nobody clicked. Questions answered counts every question the assistant answered. So the second is higher, by design.
