Sample member accounts
To include member content in search, a second overnight crawl signs in as a member and reads the site the way that member sees it. It needs one ordinary login for each kind of member. Until one is added, members see the same results as the public.
Add an account
- Go to Crawls, then Sample member accounts.
- Enter What kind of member, the Username and the Password, then click Add account.
- Click Test sign-in to check it works.
Use a purpose-made account, not a real member's. The password is stored encrypted and never shown again. A member's personal pages, such as their profile, invoices and CPD records, are never read.
If the account's password changes in iMIS, remove the account and add it again with the new password.
