Track URL parameters for survey submissions
There are instances where it may be beneficial to reuse the same survey while utilizing a URL parameter to track the specific event or purpose of the survey.
Within the survey editor, there are two fields available called 'Secondary Key URL' and 'Alternate Key URL'. In here you would place the URL parameter name that you are going to use for tracking.
When you generate your survey link, you can then add these extra URL parameters to the URL. This data will be saved in the SBuddyAnswers.SecondaryKey and SBuddyAnswers.AlternateKey fields respectively which you can access via IQA reports.
For example, your survey link may look like this:
https://pseudocode.com.au/survey-buddy/Survey-Anonymous.aspx?SurveyID=13cf1cf4-e136-4c06-b0ab-db3e4ccabfd9&EventKey=CHAPAUG
This means you do not need to create a separate survey for every event that you run, and can simply change the event code within the URL.
