To define the available selections
Pseudo Code recommends using a Multi Instance, Standalone panel to create and maintain the data available for selection by contacts.
As a minimum, Panel Buddy needs four fields:
- CodeCategory
- DescriptionCategory
- CodeSubCategory
- DescriptionSubCategory
NB: Do not use any special characters in the fields including & (Ampersands), (Commas), /Slashes , | (Pipe) or semi-colons. Spaces are accepted.
You can also add additional fields for use in queries – for example sort order, and also to allow the data lists to be used in multiple locations for different reasons; in this example, in addition to defining as Dogs and Cats, the additional checkbox could identify them as a ‘Domestic Pet’.
The data can be replicated.
NB: Categories will be created based on the data in the CodeCategory column. Misspellings or typos in this column will result in additional categories being created i.e. Dog, Dogs will create two separate categories.
