Website health

Three checks on your own website. Each shows what to fix and which page to open. Nothing here changes your site.

Searches from your "page not found" page

When someone opens an address that no longer exists, they see a "page not found" page. Some then search for what they wanted. This lists those searches, and the page that answers each one.

Fix: link the old address to the page that answers it, or add a page if none does. We can show what people wanted, but not which old address sent them there.

Pages nothing links to

A page no other page links to can only be found through search, or by someone who already has its address. Each one suggests a page to add a link from. Pages from iMIS feeds, members-only pages, and sign-in and error pages are left out of this check.

Pages that share a title

The title is the name a page shows in search results and in the browser tab. When many pages share one title, members see a list of identical results and cannot tell which one they want. Each group suggests a fix, such as giving each page its own title, or setting the title from each item's name in a shared page template. PDFs are listed separately; a PDF's title is set in its document properties.
