Answer Buddy > Understanding the numbers

The Overview screen

Overview is where you start. At the top is the time period: 7d, 14d, 30d or 90d. It starts at 30 days. Every number on the screen follows it. If a figure looks surprisingly low, check the period first.

Overview has four tabs:

Tab What it shows
Worklist Your to-do list: searches that went wrong, failures first. See Your weekly ten minutes.
Measure How much the assistant answered, and trends.
Reports Plain-English reports, including broken links on your website.
Website health Three checks on your own website.

The Worklist in detail

It lists every search made at least three times in the period. Change that with Min volume. The Show filter offers:

  • Needs attention: no results, or results nobody clicked and the assistant did not answer.
  • No results: people searched this and got nothing.
  • No clicks: results were shown, nobody clicked, and the assistant did not answer.
  • Answered by the assistant: the assistant answered, so nobody needed to click.
  • Healthy: results, and at least one click.
  • All queries.

If your site has more than one search, a Search selector lets you look at one at a time.
