Pre-populate contact data from iMIS in your survey
You can pre-populate contact data from an IQA query within your survey question answers.
Note: This will not work for anonymous surveys, as we need to have a contact in iMIS to retrieve the data.
1. Select the IQA
Within the survey details, you can select the IQA that is used for Data Merge. There is a sample IQA included as part of the install under '$/Pseudocode/survey-buddy/Example - Merge Fields in Survey'.
Note: This IQA must have a Filter of ID, where the Comparison is set to 'Equal', and the In Search field is set to 'Optional' or 'Required'.

2. Enter the fields from the IQA in the survey
Within a HTML question, you can place the field name from the IQA within curly brackets. This must match the field name exactly as it is in the Display tab within the IQA.

Within a Text type question, you can set a default answer. Within here, you can place the field name from the IQA within curly brackets.

As you can see below, I have now logged in and accessed the survey as a contact with a first name of 'Leo' and this data has been pre-populated within the survey.
