Take one page out of search
Use this when a page should stay on your website but should not be found in search.
- Go to Documents and find the page.
- Click the "…" on its row and choose Hide.
Delete does the same and is meant for pages you do not expect to bring back. It asks you to confirm. To act on several pages, tick them and use Hide or Delete in the bar that appears.
Bring a page back
Set the status filter to Hidden or Deleted, find the page, and choose Restore from its menu.
Hide and Delete stick. The overnight crawl will not undo them. Neither touches the page on your website.
To keep out a whole section, or every address containing a particular word, use an exclusion instead.
